Poetic language in the narrative works of José Manuel Crespo

Abstract

The theme of this article originates from the research carried out on the narrative work of the Colombian writer José Manuel Crespo, which contains autobiographical, social, historical, political, and cultural topics, relevant to literature. Due to its length, the general objective focuses on the creation and use of poetic language as part of the author's writing processes in his narrative works,
and its relationship with concepts such as 'lyrical novel'. The research methodology is qualitative, based on documentary sources and their analysis. The conclusions show a narrative language that stands out and captivates for its literary beauty and, equally, for the universe it describes, which implies the organization of new lines of study related to various semantic constructions, apart from the meanings and interpretations that of this type of writing can be generated.
